The move into styling was a natural development from previously running a garment customisation label,
studying for an honours degree in Fashion, and training in a Soho tailors. After several years of styling upon
graduating from university, I made a conscious move to further understand all aspect of a high fashion
brand, by working as a Project Manager for the fashion label Mother of Pearl.
I am currently living and loving the EastEnd of London after growing up in Essex, which has given me a
grounded take on the essential qualities & responsibilities needed for working hard & efficiently within
Fashion. I would say this has been well summarised in the affectionate observation said about me,
“you can take the boy out of Essex, but you can take all the Essex out the boy”.
My name is Russell Philip Peek and I am a freelance Fashion
Stylist and maker of bespoke garments and products, for
creative editorials, advertising and commercial projects. Over the
last 9 years I have enjoyed styling shoots for various publications
& brands such as GT, Fashionisto, and Berthold Menswear. I
have also loved making bespoke items for companies including
Universal Music, Ladbrokes, Mother of Pearl, and
Belle-et-BonBon Lingerie.
I feel my intuitive approach to fulfilling a brief can be seen in the
images I have styled, the commissioned pieces I have produced,
and the events I have created. I pride myself on problem solving
and attention to detail, which has lead to glowing event reviews
by Vogue, Style.com, and Grazia. My fashion styling has also
been showcased by a style interview by Elysium.
